We have experience in Green Building, working with sustainable materials that will help protect the environment, your family, and home. Some of these materials and techniques include passive and active solar technology, exterior foam insulation barrier, SIPS (structurally insulated panels), soy-based insulation, radiant barrier heat shield, energy efficient lighting, tankless hot water heater, energy efficient appliances, double & triple paned windows and a wide variety of recycled products.  We are passionate about the work we do for you and our Tahoe environment.  We keep up to date with new Green Build products that come on the market and are devoted to researching each one before we bring it to your project.

DLP’s past projects have included all details of initial planning and layout, permit process, demolition, foundation, framing, roofing, exterior trim, decks, siding, plumbing, electrical, insulation, drywall, cabinetry, millwork & trim, floor coverings, and paint & stain.

Dave has been working on a complete remodel of his own Truckee Tahoe home incorporating several green build elements into the 3394 square feet including 6 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, laundry room, great room with vaulted ceilings, entertaining kitchen, oversized 2 car garage & workshop, and landscaping.

DLP Construction will travel outside the Lake Tahoe area within California with its own mobile jobsite tool trailer, rubbish and recycle trailer, and sleeping quarters.  Please contact Dave for further information in regards to out of town work.

Dave will personally put together a Binder System detailing all labor and material costs customized to meet your Dream Project desires for a small percent of the entire project cost.  He will take the time to meet with each of his clients on a one-to-one basis to review the binder information and be sure you are understanding and happy with the overall project plan.  You will then receive a copy of this binder to keep and refer to as your project commences and progresses.  Dave will keep a close working relationship with you throughout the entire project process.  Upon completion DLP can supply you with pictures of your project to keep as a reminder from start to finish.
